Michael McLaughlin joined Oakgrove's work force in 1989 as a
laborer and he has worked hard to climb the corporate ladder ever since,
being promoted to a labor foreman, superintendent, and in 2005 a partner.
Strong on the bridge end of this industry, Michael added some
innovations and ideas to help this company successfully complete fast track,
demanding jobs such as the Fourth Lane addition for the NYS Thruway
Authority. His list of accomplishments also includes projects for the Corps
of Engineers and NYSDOT. Many of his jobs have demanded day, night, and
weekend work to stay on schedule, such as Route 33 paving and drainage
improvements and Route I-290 paving and bridge rehabilitation. Currently,
emergency bridge repair of the I-290 over I-190 is the latest addition to
his list.
